If you are looking forward for a fun, engaging way for your students to consolidate their knowledge and understanding of crucial algebra skills, then look no further than this lovely activity!
Based round the classic board game of Cleudo, students must successfully complete series of questions, each on a given aspect of algebra, in order to eliminate suspects, weapons and locations. The worksheets get harder as the net closes in on the guilty party! Topics such as substitution, factorising, expanding brackets and solving quadratic equations are tackled, with the promise of solving the crime providing students with the incentive to keep on battling through!
This is such a simple idea, but one which could be applied successfully to a whole range of topics for all ages and abilities.
