It’s that time of year when your Year 12 AS Maths students will (hopefully!) be preparing hard for the upcoming summer exams. If they are anything like my students, their class notes might well be in a bit of a mess, the 300 page textbook might seem a little too daunting, and they might appreciate short, snappy summary of the core elements of the course.

This is where this lovely collection of Core 1 and 2 Revision Cards could come into play. Each card has a key fact on it, presented in the form or a question and answer. Students could use these to revise the key point individually, or betters till involve friends and family in their revision. There is also the opportunity to allow students to create their own cards to add to this collection. Anything that can help my students remember exactly what the discriminant does, has to be a good thing!
