My delightful Year 11 class are going to love this! All the A and A* algebra skills they need, bundled up into one lovely (very challenging!) maze!

Students must try and navigate their way through the maze, passing only through squares that have correct algebraic identities in them. And if their knowledge of things like factorising quadratics, laws of indices and algebraic fractions are not up to scratch, then they may well find themselves stranded.

The discussions that will ensue and the misconceptions that will be unearthed lead to the deepest form of learning, and this is perfectly suited towards focussed group work. And if that wasn’t enough, the author has also provided a blank maze template for students to design their own mazes on different topics!
