Each day I select one of my favourite free maths resources that have been uploaded and shared by the generous and incredibly talented users of the TES Maths website and tweet it out via @TESmaths. I call this feature Resource of the Day (ROTD).
Here is a summary of the previous week.
And of course, all the resources selected are completely free. You just need to register on the TES website to download them. And as ever, a huge thank you to all the teachers who share resources. You make TES what it is
Monday: a lovely “find a car” activity, that involves percentage increase & decrease
Tuesday: I really like this set of literacy bookmarks for key words in maths
Wednesday: a complete, well differentiated lesson on algebraic proof
Thursday: a “something in common” activity on magic fractions
Friday: a Spearman’s Rank card sort for GCSE Stats or A Level
Saturday: a really nice set of loop cards on properties of triangles & quadrilaterals
Sunday: a starter activity on estimation that challenges students to think of a question
