My Novels

Ever since I was little, I wanted to be a teacher and a writer. As you can tell, I was a pretty cool kid...

Anyway, I don't get as much time to write these days as I would like, but I do have three novels available, all of which are nothing whatsoever to do with maths. Well, almost anyway.

Secrets and Mince Pies is the humorous (I hope) story of a family from the north of England, in the four days leading up to Christmas, all of whom have a secret to hide. This book is available on Amazon Kindle and in print format.

Tell me a Story is the tale of two ordinary nineteen year olds who find themselves having to do the extra ordinary - rob a supermarket. This book is available on Amazon Kindle and in print format.

The Cambridge Diaries: A Tale of Friendship, Love and Economics is a story of a young northern lad's first year at Cambridge University and is very much based on my own experiences (although my character in the book is slightly funnier and has slightly more success with ladies than the real-life version). Some might say that it is the perfect read for anyone who is off to university, or who wants to know what really goes on at university these days, but I couldn't possibly comment on that.

Finally, I also contribute to the 555 Words Blog, where myself and two other teachers each take a topic and write exactly 555 words on it. We have covered Fashion, Pets, Commitment, Resolutions, and more,
